Nikolaus day at Goethe Institut


In Germany 6 December is an important day for children. The German Santa Claus comes a few weeks earlier than the usual Santa.

Goethe-Institut celebrated Nikolaus Day on 6th December from 2pm- 6pm, and it was basically for children between the ages 8 to 16 years.

The event revolved around German culture, language, food, music, art, games and much more with illustration contests, exhibitions and food stalls. 

Prizes, surprises, sweet treats and entertainment filled the even with joy and enthusiasm. 150 free tickets including a free beverage and snack was given.

7 girls of Musaeus College volunteered at the event and many from our school participated at the event
